Hero Producers

We only serve wine and food from independent makers, experts, artisans and enthusiasts who hold sustainability close to their heart.

  • From humble beginnings with our founder James and his trusty scooter, delivering cases of wine pre-work at his job in the city and hosting tastings in his friends' living rooms, we now proudly operate seven wine bars and restaurants across the city.

Over 15 years, we've grown into something bigger than we ever imagined - from those early living room tastings to a wine school, tasting events, shops, and a list of 500+ wines. But the spirit behind it has never changed.

James created Humble Grape to share his love and passion for wine with as many people as possible - without the snobbery, without the judgement, and without the pretentiousness.

  • Everyone should be able to enjoy exceptional wines without the snobbery and the judgement. We're here to guide you - helping you discover a wine you love and choose your next bottle with confidence.

We take wine seriously so you don't have to. Our goal isn't to make you an expert but to show you that you don't need to be one to enjoy wine. We serve organic wines that make your evenings enjoyable and your mornings painless, all of which are sustainably produced, free from chemical nonsense, and full of stories. Our wine team taste thousands of wines every year, and if we don't love it, we don't serve it.

  • Over the past 15 years, we've had the privilege of working with some of the world's best vineyards and now import 500+ organic wines from small-batch, independent, family-owned vineyards across 26 countries.

We only import organic, biodynamic and low-intervention wines that don't contain chemicals or pesticides, are made ethically, and are full of stories.

Many of our producers are family-run wineries that work tirelessly to craft honest, authentic, and organic wines. These aren't mass-market brands with big budgets - they're real people with incredible stories and a deep commitment to quality.

When you buy a bottle, you directly support these artisans - helping a family-owned vineyard in a remote corner of the world bring its wine to more tables, and helping us continue to connect passionate winemakers with wine lovers like you.
