All six of our fantastic wine bars in London double as wine shops, so you can bring that Humble Grape experience you love home with you. What sets us apart from other wine shops in London? Our shelves are stacked with more than 400 sustainable wines, imported directly from our cherished Hero producers, many on an exclusive basis you won’t find anywhere else in the UK!

Looking for something special, but not sure where to start? We’ve got you covered. Our team are experts in wine and are WSET certified. They can make recommendations based on your preferences and help you shop for a variety of wines, answering any questions you may have along the way!

What wines do we sell in our shops?

We have a cracking selection of wines in our London wine shops and are proud to be known as a go-to London wine merchant. Take your pick from a variety of wines from more than 20 countries spanning the globe. All of our wines come from independent winemakers from small-production, family-run, organic vineyards that champion biodynamic, organic and sustainable winemaking.

In our wine shops, you’ll find plenty of reds, whites, roses alongside fantastic fizzes, ports and sherries - all of which are organic and sustainable. We also have a great selection of vegan and natural wines to choose from! So if you’re on the lookout for where to buy organic wine in London, look no further.

Whether you’re an Old World oenophile, or a fan of New World wines, our wine shops have it all. If you’re looking to be a little more adventurous and try something new, we also stock a range of top notch wines from more obscure destinations - like Northern Macedonia, Lebanon and Slovenia - to name a few. If there’s any wines you want to sample or discuss, just grab one of our wine merchants and they’ll help you out!

Where can you find our Wine Shops?

Each of our Humble Grape wine bars has its own wine shop, including Fleet Street, Liverpool Street, Battersea, Islington and Canary Wharf. Each location has its own distinctive personality.

Take our Islington wine shop, for example, tucked between the elegant brickwork and greenery of Islington is a wine destination like no other. The emerald tiled bar, light and spacious dining area and the wine shop itself, all make for a cosy atmosphere, perfect for perusing the wine shelves or sitting with friends to sip and swirl something new.

Our Battersea wine bar on Battersea Rise in South London is an oasis of continental calm in the middle of a charming and lively neighourhood. Pop into our Battersea wine bar on the way to the Common to pick up a perfectly pink bottle of Cotes de Provence or stop by for a tasting and shop our shelves after to bring a bottle home to enjoy.

Our Canary Wharf wine bar is a one stop shop for all things wine. Beautifully situated on the waterfront, enjoy a glass or two of vino with colleagues after work. Our Canary Wharf wine shop is filled with artisan bottles adorning the walls of the wine bar. It’s the ideal place to pop into on your way home to grab a bottle to take home and enjoy after a long day in the office.

Our Liverpool Street wine bar is just a stone’s throw away from the station! Our little but mighty wine bar has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends and family. The Liverpool Street wine shop is fantastic, and even though the bar itself is tiny, the shop still sells more than 400 wines. No matter if you're an ABC, red wine fan or a crisp whites only, you’ll be able to find a bottle that ticks your boxes.

Over in Crouch End, our newest wine bar boasts a relaxed and dynamic atmosphere, a perfect opportunity for a quick stop wine shop or a sit-down tasting experience with family and friends. Walk into a cosy winery-style space surrounded by shelves upon shelves packed full with sustainable and organic wines, sourced from every corner of the world.

Finally, our Fleet Street wine bar, hidden in the original crypts below St Brides Church, is a quirky and comfy spot to enjoy wine and sustainably sourced British food. The Fleet Street wine shop also has more than 400 wines. If you’re looking for a special experience, ask one of the team about the wine cellar room, a gorgeous little room with bottles floor to ceiling.

Enjoy your wine purchase in our wine bar

On Mondays, you can purchase a bottle of wine from any of our wine shops in London and enjoy it at the bar at its takeaway price. Not sure which bottle to go for or want to learn more about wine?

Our Tasting Tuesdays is the perfect opportunity to meet with our wine team and taste test four different wines for just £15! Each of our wine bars has a different theme each week. Our quick 45 minute £11 Wine 101 classes are a great way to try new wines and the £10 deposit can be put towards buying a bottle of your favourite at our London wine shops.

Yes, we pride ourselves on being one of the best London wine merchants, offering expert recommendations. Our personal wine concierge Nico, can pull together a bespoke selection of wines for you based on your preferences as well.

Can you buy wine in bulk?

Do you deliver wine?

We sure do! All of the wines in our wine shops and bars are also available to purchase at our online wine shop. The minimum order is £100 and we ship all over the UK.
