20% Off WSET Wine Courses in London

Why Now Is a Great Time to Start Learning About Wine

If you've been curious about wine — properly curious, beyond just knowing what you like — a WSET qualification is the most widely respected way to build that knowledge. And right now, we're offering 20% off WSET wine courses at Humble Grape Wine School for women, using the code WSETWOMEN20.

Our wine lessons in London are led by certified WSET educators who take the subject seriously without ever making you feel like you should have already known that. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone who's been happily drinking for years and wants to understand why they love what they love, there's a level for you.

We're based at 1 St Bride's Passage, EC4Y 8EJ — easy to reach, and a very long way from the stuffier corners of traditional wine education.

A Wine and Fragrance Pairing Event in London

When Two Sensory Worlds Collide

Here's the thing about wine and perfume: they're not supposed to mix. Wearing a scent to a wine tasting is famously the wrong thing to do — it confuses the nose, clouds the palate, and makes everyone else in the room quietly furious with you.

And yet. The two worlds have far more in common than the rules suggest.

Both wine and fragrance speak a language that goes straight past the rational mind — all stone fruit and forest floor, smoke and sea breeze, things you recognise before you can name them. Both are intimately tied to memory and emotion. And both reward the same quality: a willingness to pay attention.

Our Sniff & Sip® Event with Olfactive O

We've partnered with Olfactive O, a London-based independent perfume house founded by artist and perfumer Olivia Da Costa alongside her secret perfumer, for an exclusive perfume and wine pairing event that celebrates this connection properly.

Olfactive O creates scents designed to be felt as much as smelt — each one built to evoke a mood, a memory, a version of yourself. Through their signature Sniff & Sip® experiences, fragrance and wine are brought together not to analyse, but to open up conversation, instinct, and something a bit harder to define.

For this event, we've carefully paired wines and fragrances to bring out the best in each other. A crisp, mineral-driven white alongside a scent of cold stone and coastal air. A brooding, earthy red matched with something dark and woody that seems to speak the same language. The pairings are designed to shift your perspective — and to leave you with a richer vocabulary for both the glass and the skin.

Before You Book — A Few Things to Know

  • Please do not wear fragrance on the day (yes, even to this one)

  • Spaces are intimate and limited — early booking is strongly recommended

  • Events are non-refundable and non-transferrable
