Which Humble Grape Wedding Venue Is Right for You?

Choosing between our five London wedding venues comes down to four things: location, atmosphere, guest numbers and the kind of celebration you want to host.

• Fleet Street – City of London | historic underground vaults | up to 120 seated or 200 standing | well suited to larger wedding breakfasts, drinks receptions and full-venue celebrations.

• Canary Wharf – East London | contemporary riverside setting | up to 100 seated or 120 standing | a strong choice for waterfront receptions and larger seated celebrations.

• Islington – North London | warm, intimate neighbourhood feel | up to 50 seated or 80 standing | ideal for smaller receptions and more relaxed celebrations.

• Bow Lane – Cheapside, City of London | atmospheric historic underground setting | up to 60 seated or 80 standing | well suited to intimate City weddings and private dining-style celebrations.

• Smithfield – near Farringdon and Smithfield Market | exposed brick and bistro-style interiors | up to 44 seated or 60 standing | a great fit for smaller wedding breakfasts and intimate receptions.

The detailed venue sections below cover each space in more depth, including what makes it distinctive and the current capacity.

Our Wedding Venue in Fleet Street

If you’re looking for the ultimate city wedding venue, then look no further than Humble Grape Fleet Street. It can be found in the vaults of the historic St Bride’s Church, so it’s pretty special and a historic setting. Rumour has it the first wedding cake was inspired by the spire of the church. We reckon that is a pretty good omen!

Quirky and comfy with beautiful ancient architecture, wooden furniture and characterful interiors, this is the perfect backdrop to your unique London wedding. The rustic style of our underground city wine bar has an ambience that you can’t help but adore. In this space, you can opt for a smaller dinner or reception in one of our private event spaces, or hire the entire venue for the ultimate party.
