Humble Grape Canary Wharf
18-20 Mackenzie Walk, Canary Wharf, E14 4PH. We're fully dog friendly here, on the main floor and out on the terrace overlooking Middle Dock, so a dog friendly booking doesn't mean you're limited to a table outside. We also run Paws & Pours, a monthly dog friendly wine tasting event. The kitchen serves small plates, sharing boards and main dishes alongside 500+ wines, and the bar opens at 4pm on Monday, 3pm Tuesday to Thursday, midday Friday and Saturday, and midday on Sunday, with retail open from 11am on Sunday.
If you're coming for more than a quick glass, Wine O'Clock runs weekdays 5pm to 6pm and Saturdays 12pm to 4.30pm, £6 for a glass of 100% organic wine, and during that Saturday window each dining adult can order one free three-course Little Grape menu for a child. Sunday Roast is also served here, 12pm to 4pm until sold out, with Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables and gravy, and a group of four or more gets £35 towards the bottle. The kitchen's 800g sharing Tomahawk sits alongside the smaller plates and boards. We keep dog treats and water bowls on hand, so dogs can have a treat and a drink while you settle in.
Brother Marcus, Reuters Plaza
Reuters Plaza, YY Building, E14 5HX. Brother Marcus runs a Mediterranean brunch and mezze menu from an open kitchen, with fresh pitas, homemade dips and shared plates; the Rip & Dips, warm pitas with a rotating set of dips, opens the menu. Its outdoor space is a large, south-facing pergola with its own bar, heating and a retractable roof, built to work through a London winter rather than shutting the day the temperature drops. It's open from 7am on weekdays for breakfast through to 11pm, and dogs are more than welcome; the venue simply asks that you add a note to your booking so the team knows to expect one.
Gaucho, Westferry Circus
29 Westferry Circus, E14 8RR. Gaucho's Canary Wharf site sits directly on the Thames, with a riverside terrace and skyline views, and it's an Argentinian steakhouse built around flame-cooked, pure-bred beef rather than a quick plate. Dogs are welcome on the terrace while you order starters such as crab on toast or steak tartare before the ribeye arrives. Gaucho's own policy covers the whole restaurant. Dogs should stay on a lead, and water bowls are available on request. That policy applies across every Gaucho location except the one inside The O2, which follows the arena's own rules instead. Given the menu and the setting, this suits a proper dinner rather than a fast bite, so book ahead if you want a table with the view.
BrewDog, Churchill Place

BrewDog Canary Wharf is a dog friendly craft beer bar built around stacked burgers, its wings menu and a rotating beer list, with a vegan menu alongside the meat-forward one so the table doesn't have to agree on one style of food. It runs a Lunch Club deal on weekdays, a burger or sub with fries and a pint for a fixed price between midday and 3pm, which suits a stop on your way past rather than a full evening booking. There's also a standing Wings Wednesday offer, unlimited wings for a fixed price, and a separate Student Sundays deal, 50% off, so check the day you're planning against the current offers before you book.
