Southern Right is the Hamilton Russel familys second venture into Pinotage and Sauvignon Blanc. They found ideal vineyard sites and soils for these quite a distance separated from their home estate, so honoured it with a separate label.
Pinotage is a unique gift to the wine world. It is a bold and expressive grape that makes characterful wine like no other, but certainly needs a clear head to avoid overripe jammy characters or oakiness that clashes with the fruits purity.

Product Description

This violet-red wine has black plum aromas, natural earthiness and Pinotages key hints of orange, mint and tar. The savoury palate has medium acidity and rich dark fruit flavours, given length and complexity by that earthy edge.
