Quick Overview

Corsini is a mere one hectare South West facing vineyard on clay/loam soil with an average vine age of 26-45 years old in the Southern Barolo DOCG cru of Monforte d'Alba. The fruit was hand -picked, completely de-stemmed and lightly crushed. Oak maturation in a mix of new, 1 and 2 year old French Barrels and seasoned Slovenian casks for 30 months. A classic Barolo from a stunning vintage built for the long haul.

Product Description

The Podere Ruggeri Corsini Winery was founded in 1995 by Loredana Addari and Nicola Argamante who both graduated in Agriculture and specialized in wine-growing and oenology. They decided to change their lives, leaving their city jobs to buy a small farm business in Monforte d’Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, Cuneo. A family run business, owned by the two viticulturalists and Loredana’s brother Lorenzo. The winery was given the name “Corsini” as it represents the ancient hamlet in Monforte d’Alba, made up of very old stone houses.
