The micro cuvée 400.9 is produced from the oldest plot (70 years), of Cabernet Franc (locally called Cabernet Breton) vines in a privileged location in the woods, on clay-limestone soils. Matured in large format 400 litre oak barrels for 18 months and bottled without fining or filtration.
Limited yields of 30hl/ha ensures concentration and power in the wines, but also limited production. Each bottle is individually numbered from just 2000 bottles produced per year.
