Produced from grapes grown on our estate at Valdestillas on the banks of the Duero and Adaja rivers. This wine has an intense tropical fruit aroma, mouth watering flavours of guava, lychee and passion fruit. Delicious on its own, with seafood, or any white meats. Vineyard: Bodega Vega de la Reina covers more than100 hectares, at average altitude of 740m above sea level, in an area of clearly continental climate. The soil, of alluvial origin, of markedly sandy and stony texture at the surface, is very appropriate for vine cultivation, particularly the Verdejo variety, native to the Rueda district. Production method: The harvest takes place at night in order to avoid high temperatures, minimize the oxidations, the loss of the aroma and undesirable soaking. The fermentation is carried in stainless vats during a period of 15-20 days. After leaving to stand for 2/3 months, the wine is stabilized, filtered and bottled.
