Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC (Tedeschi)
Product Description
30% Corvina, 30% Rondinella, 30% Corvinone, 10% Molinara, Rossignola, Oseleta, Dindarella and Negrara. The grapes are harvested from the end of September, to the beginning of October and then are dried on racks in controlled humidity conditions for 4 months. A weight loss of some 30-40% of the initial weight occurs during this time. In January the grapes are then softly pressed using roller presses. Aged for 3 years in Slovenian oak barrels followed by a further 6 months in bottle prior to release.
